Are you aware that the Enfield Soccer Club (ESC) offers two tracks in its youth soccer programs, starting at U8? Once your child is old enough to move up from U6, Enfield Soccer offers players the opportunity to compete in its competitive soccer programs. While our club will continue to offer recreational soccer (rec soccer) to players who enjoy having fun up to the age of 17, we also offer players the opportunity to compete at a higher level with their peers in our competitive soccer leagues.

Competitive soccer begins at the U8 level through either our boys or girls academy. Each academy is run by a certified coach who works with each player in developing their fundamental soccer skills. Practices are held twice a week, at our Lego Fields, with games occurring on the weekends.

Players who choose to join the academy will have the privilege of representing their home town against other Connecticut towns across northern Connecticut. Academy teams compete against Hartford, Suffield, Windsor, Windsor Locks, Portland, West Hartford, Somers, Manchester, and other towns within our region. Games are, in the nature of the program, competitive, and are played 7 v 7 (including a GK), with players executing positional soccer.
